Terms of Business
1. General Overview
These Terms of Business govern all export transactions and services provided by AWS Food Corporation. By engaging with our export desk or initiating a trade inquiry, the buyer accepts these professional terms.
2. Quotations and Pricing
All quotes provided by AWS Food Corporation are based on current market rates for rice and food commodities. Prices are subject to change due to harvest fluctuations or logistics costs until a formal Proforma Invoice (PI) is signed and the deposit is received.
- Prices are typically quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the official offer sheet.
3. Payment Terms
To maintain efficient export operations, we strictly adhere to international trade payment protocols:
- Advance Payment: A percentage of the total order value (usually 30-50%) is required to initiate procurement and processing.
- Letter of Credit (L/C): We accept Irrevocable and Confirmed Letters of Credit at sight from top-tier international banks.
- Balance Payment: Remaining balance is typically due against scanned copies of shipping documents (B/L, Invoice, Packing List).
4. Shipping and Logistics
We provide professional logistics support through Karachi Port and Port Qasim:
- Incoterms: Transactions are conducted under FOB, CFR (CNF), or CIF terms.
- Lead Times: Estimated loading times are provided at the time of order confirmation.
- Documentation: We provide standard export documentation (B/L, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, Commercial Invoice).
5. Quality Inspection
Quality is our priority. Buyers may appoint verified third-party inspection agencies (such as SGS or Intertek) at the port of loading to verify grain length, moisture, and purity before the container is sealed.
6. Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from international trade contracts shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan and settled through professional arbitration in Karachi, unless otherwise agreed upon in the signed sales contract.
